Ways to Be Comfortable in Your Own Skin

Be Yourself
Life becomes worthless if a person decides not to be who he or she actually is. It shakes confidence and hinders one’s performance. To be comfortable in your own skin, you need to be exceptionally clear about who you actually are and what you want from life. Feel proud of yourself, appreciate yourself, love yourself and celebrate the real you. Once you are positive about yourself, you will attract all the positive energy around. Love yourself and the world will love you. That’s the only way you could know the true meaning of happiness and live your life to the fullest. But the question is how to do all that? The answer is simple, follow the given ways to be comfortable in your own skin:
Honor and Admire your Body
Love your body and value it. Imagine the number of functions it performs on daily basis and be thankful for it. Honor it by taking proper care of it; go for long-walks or a 30-40 minutes run, daily, take long showers, imbibe lots of water and pay attention to your dental hygiene.

Enlist everything that you follow in order to take proper care of yourself to feel healthy and happy. After making the list, incorporate them in your daily schedule. Once you make healthy habits a part of your schedule it will become easier for you to effortlessly take care of your body. Daily healthy practices will improve your body and when you will start noticing great results you will start to be comfortable in your own skin.
Have a Positive Mind
Possessing and maintaining a positive mind can play a vital role in making you be comfortable in your own skin. Involve yourself in creative writing or something of similar sort such as drawing, painting etc, which might help you stimulate your mind and fill it with positive thoughts.

Three Things You Are Not Doing to Simplify Life

Untitled-1
No one can instill the feeling of contentment in you as it lies deep within oneself. Only you have the power to simplify your life. It is okay to get irritated when things do not go as planned and makes it really tough for us to stay positive and content with life.
One should keep in mind that it is not only us you have to face unwanted circumstances. There are millions of others around the world battling with emotional, physical and mental challenges on daily basis. Such situations make it extremely difficult for us to simplify our life, but it is not impossible. It is our mind which keeps telling us that we cannot remain satisfied with our lives when things are not going our way, but once you are able to control your mind, everything is possible.
Enlisted and elucidated are the ways with which you can to simplify life
Alter The Way You Think
A change of perspective is prompted to channel your mind and to simplify life. The moment you start altering the way you think about something is the moment when you will start feeling differently about the same thing. At times when we lose something, we feel that we have lost everything and the life will never be the same again. That’s true, life will change, but why do we presume that it will change negatively? Why do we always ignore the possibility of it changing positively? For instance, if we lose our jobs, we think that it is the end of the world and we have hit rock bottom. We do we keep our eyes closed to numerous opportunities still up for grabs? You might pursue a habit you have always been passionate about, learn a new skill set or may be start up with your own business venture. Or when we get sick, we start cursing our lives instead of seeing it as an opportunity to have some rest and having a day or two off from work, without feeling guilty about it.

Trust me! It’s not just you. There are a lot of people who would answer ‘Yes’ to all of the above mentioned questions. At times, we ruthlessly judge ourselves and compare ourselves unnecessarily with others. This make us feel even more depressed and unhappy with our lives. We focus on the negative aspects of live so much that all our happiness fades away. It prevents us from having true happiness and deprives us from satisfaction.
To overcome such a feeling, one should develop a healthy relationship with his or herself. This will help you boost up your self-esteem. If you would not love yourself, no one else will either. Turning our Weaknesses into Strengths, Simply Takes 5 Steps

Strength
We, the humans, are imperfect. We possess the weaknesses that annoy us and we try to get rid of them. This is where the problem arises because weaknesses can’t be eliminated absolutely but can be accepted and converted into strengths. Here are 5 steps you need to follow to turn weaknesses intro strengths.
  1. Accept and recognize the weaknesses you have
Sometimes, out of ego or any other reason, we don’t recognize the weakness we possess. The result is repetition of acts causing further frustration. Firstly, recognize the weaknesses you have. You may be getting too much emotional, angry, negative, weak, and arrogant or any other trait adversely affecting your productivity. Accept that these are influencing your life in negative way and you’re up to take certain steps to change them.
  1. Have faith yourself to change them into strengths
Once you have recognized the weaknesses, have faith and pull up yourself to change them into strengths. Faith provides impetus to take steps but change comes from within. You may know weaknesses but you may find yourself being able to do nothing about them. This is because you lack trust in yourself and your creator that effort will bring any fruits. Trust me, it does and it will once you build power of faith.
  1. List down the weaknesses with corresponding strengths
This activity was defined by David Kerpen, CEO Likeable Local in Newyork and I found it relevant to this step of process so thought to share with you.
Rule is: To every weakness is the corresponding strength, you just need to identify it.
After accepting weaknesses and building courage to change them, you need to have vivid view of weaknesses needed to be converted to strengths. Write traits or qualities that annoy you most. Once you’re done, ignite the light of optimism and forget yourself for time being, and begin to think of a random person, how that particular quality can be used by him in a positive way. You may find it difficult but, I assure you will come up with at least one good quality against one bad.
For example, you can write reflective against shy, tolerant against indecisive, curious against anxious, calm against emotionless, passionate against abhorrent. You will begin to see a pattern of positive characteristics within your weaknesses. Every weakness has a corresponding strength and David Kerpen’s activity has proved it. So, if you focus on nurturing strengths more than weaknesses, you have got there, or at least you have begun to!
  1. Take action
Sorry, I will have to repeat a cliché here, “Actions speak louder than words”.
Yes! Embracing weaknesses and knowing the way to build strengths on them won’t bring any change unless you act upon them. You must wonder what do I mean when I say act? Well act means change the frame of mind to act upon your newly found strengths. Once you have tunedyour mind and body according to these newly found strengths, your focus shifts to optimism, and you will begin to embody change.
  1. Be Persistent!
Sounds easy than done? I understand. But, once you begun to feel less boring and more responsible, less negative and more realistic, less weak and more humble, less impatient and more passionate, less stubborn and more dedicated, you don’t want to lose on them do you? Keep practicing and believing corresponding strengths to your weaknesses and you have made it!!!

8 Spiritual Thoughts To Never Let Go In Life

Spiritual Thoughts Buddha
Often, it is quoted by the wise that our thoughts are so powerful that if we could ever know their impact on our lives we would never go a day without thinking positive spiritual thoughts. Humans are blessed to have the ability to think which distinguishes us and thus it would be practically sound to use our heads a little more than just hat racks. This thinking ability further connects with the heart and souls as a gift from God so that we live a balanced life, conquering this world on our own.
This world has been spread out as a playground for the man on whom he must display his best moves to give his best shots keeping the worldly matters and his souls spiritually connects to affirm his grip on the course of life. Spirituality begins at heart, travels through one’s thoughts and ends right at the divine peace. However, it will not be a onetime effort as daily practice of spirituality gives you the strength to keep going the positive way. The act of practicing spirituality everyday revolves around the thought process where you drift away from the world around you, pick the positivity you see to accompany you when you wander in your world. ‘Thinking with God’s wisdom’ as spirituality is often defined can sneak in to your thinking lifestyle whenever and wherever you let it. Following are a few spiritual thoughts for you to incorporate spiritual insights in your life.
1. Adapt to New Ways
Thinking about new things or changing your pattern of thoughts every now then directly affects your brain by creating new neurons and changing your brain’s wiring. Instead of getting too consumed in the way your thoughts usually are, opt for novelty about the things you think. Renewal plays a major role in spiritual healing.
2. Acknowledge God’s Love
God has a never ending circle of giving to His creations so before you develop negative perspectives to things around you. Remind yourself that the entire universe is interdependent on the eternal creator therefore one cannot despite things which are based on love themselves. Eventually this will become the center of your thinking cycle and your brain will grow in a healthier way.
3. Recognize Immorality as the Disruption
Given that our lives proceeding to a destiny and every incident which happens in our daily life brings us closer to it, we often overlook the need for going with the flow. Looking for loop holes to win over others usually gets us to committing unethical things which may affect someone or even ourselves adversely. This will disrupt the entire journey, thus avoiding immoral deeds must be acknowledged as a de tracker.
4. Humility is Empowering
Victories of life give us that extra self admiration misleading us to being arrogant. Spiritual thoughts, however, can be relied on to keep self destructive habits out of the way. Such spiritual thoughts eliminate the belief that our abilities will always prove us victorious which further increases our dependence on victory for survival.
5. Think in a Prayerful Way
Every day we counter setbacks and happy moments, they make us draw irrational conclusions depending on our emotional state of mind. Either we get too overwhelmed or dwell in sorrow. But thinking in a prayerful way simply means that we seek refuge in the spiritual powers present around us so that we eliminate the factors and people affecting the incidents we encounter. This way, spiritual thoughts keep us from drowning in anxiety just because over thinking is easier than being calm and hopeful even during the test of times.
6. Pause and Reflect
Stepping back from the crushing daily routine is essential for a broader perspective on life. For similar reasons people fly off for vacations to have their self time but even if leaving your surroundings is not possible, just drop your chores for some time and spend time with yourself. Is it not necessary to draw a successful outcome each time you have this ‘thinking retreat’, rather being able to reflect is success in itself. Spiritual thoughts will enhance your ability to reflect as you keep on practicing.
7. Reaffirm Yourself
We often visualize our failures instead of success in an attempt to lowering our expectations. But it is time to correct the thinking mechanism we have gotten used to, spiritual thinking teaches us how to reassure ourselves that we are getting there by visualizing the journey to our dreams. If you are an aspiring film maker, think about the premier and flashing paparazzi and then imagine hours of hard work you have to put in to touch the stars. This way you will reaffirm your commitment and eagerness to get to the destiny by sneaking into your spiritual thoughts.
8. Discipline Your Thoughts
With every passing day, you will realize that you have grown accustomed to the spiritual way of thinking. We think for the most part of our day any way but now you will lead your thoughts in the right direction. Spiritual thoughts are those meetings you do not want to miss at any cost, therefore take time out of your busy life even if it is a few minutes because what you get to think in a spiritual state multiplies the effective output for you. It will construct your chain of spiritual thoughts as a positive boundary around you to prosper in it even during the test of times.
Now that we have gotten familiar to how we can shape our spiritual thoughts, we are now ready to embrace the greater approach on life. Reality definitely is subjective but we do have a way to command reality to some extent if we get our grip on our spiritual thoughts, starting from the grass root level.

What Desires Are Doing As The Natural Longing To Possess Something Good

Desires
Desires are that glittery attraction which overpowers your wants to possess something, dulling the worthy gold. How often have you been driven by your desires? Did your desires to achieve a set level of reward satisfy you? Did you ever stop wishing for more in your life? How often do you feel you are living to fulfill your desires and it is not the other way around? All these questions may have darted answers in your mind but do you actually know what desiring something actually is like?
Desires, by definition are supposedly limited till the expressing of a longing. Seemingly underrated definition of this natural phenomenon has limitless significance in a human life. In a layman’s words, desire is ‘the natural longing to possess any seeming good; eager wish to obtain or enjoy’. Evidently, it is a natural process which kicks off the moment this world greets you with its arms wide open to mold your soul. You cannot block that free hug out, so is there any other way to conquer this giveaway by the world we live in? Getting rid of desires is not possible as we are born with them to begin with. Our journey begins with the instinctual desires; to live, eat and sleep, later personal desires take on.
